CCBTx SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK 2025 Inspiration Dojo Special Edition
From encountering technology to using it and expressing it
Source: Peatix
You will learn what you can do with technology, from first encountering it to learning how to use and express it, while actually getting your hands dirty and creating something. Everyone is a beginner at first. Let's start by creating and learning together, and discover your creative inspiration!
This time, the event will be held as a special edition with a significantly larger number of participants than usual, in collaboration with "SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK 2025," which aims to create a meeting place that connects diverse ideas with the future of society and generate new culture and industry from Shibuya.
Outline
Introduction to Programming: Let's draw pictures with algorithms!
Learn how to draw pictures using programming!
Learn how to use computer-generated calculations, such as repetition and randomness, to programmatically create various patterns and graphics! It's okay if you're not good at drawing or programming. You'll use algorithms (procedures) to create drawings with minimal code. First, you'll use paper and pen, then p5.js on your computer to try your hand at creating original artwork.
★p5.js
What is P5JS?
p5.js is an open-source library (a collection of useful programs) for creating artwork using computers with images, sounds, sensors, and more. Since then, he has been active as a facilitator for the Iwate-based Superhuman Sports Project. Impressed by the engineers who instantly implemented the requests of developer players at a future sports day, he founded Omororg Inc., a company that aims to create things together with partners by prototyping them.
