The "Future Co-Creation Conference - A Step Toward Change Starting with a Vision" will be held at SHIBUYA QWS on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Through a lecture by Takaaki Uma and workshops, it will be a day to envision the future and find clues for co-creation.

Future Co-creation Conference - Starting with a vision, the first step towards change -

▪️How to envision the future you want to drive business co-creation.
Recently, many companies have set visions for the future in 2040 and 2050, and are beginning to move away from self-reliance and toward co-creation with external parties. However, there are endless complaints from the field that "co-creation is not moving forward" and "the direction is not aligned."

So how can we create a vision that will inspire everyone to join in? The key lies in the process of envisioning the future we want together.

Putting an ideal vision into words and sharing the path to realizing it has the power to involve people across positions and specialties and create strong collaboration. A vision is a "story" that lies above strategy, and it is becoming increasingly essential in promoting future business development and social implementation.

▪️Let's create a new turning point for co-creation together.
To address this issue, Panasonic Corporation Electric Works, which launched the co-creation R&D base "SHIOMER," and Loftwork Inc. will be holding the "Future Co-Creation Conference." The venue will be SHIBUYA QWS, a co-creation testing ground that continues to produce a variety of challenges.

In the first keynote session, Takaaki Uma, author of "Implementing the Future" and director of FoundX at the University of Tokyo's University Corporate Relations Initiative, will take the stage. He will share practical knowledge about the essence and role of vision, as well as ways of thinking for envisioning the future. In addition, Panasonic Corporation Electric Works, a co-organizer of this event, will introduce co-creation activities at SHIOMER. He will share "real-world knowledge" about how vision creates collaboration and drives actual projects.

▪️Meet future co-creation partners! Workshops and networking events
In the second part of the program, we will hold a workshop called "Drawing a Vision and Finding the Seeds of Co-Creation," where participants from diverse perspectives will draw visions and discover the overlaps that lead to co-creation. By each person verbalizing their "desired future" and sharing it with the group, it will become clear where individual visions resonate with each other. This "overlap" will lead to the beginning of co-creation. This program will allow you to experience the first signs of co-creation.

The networking and social gatherings will provide an opportunity for participants to connect with each other and foster new ideas for co-creation. You may even find a future co-creation partner here.
