"All Artists: The Day You Become an Artist!" is an event where you can experience a "free way of creating art" that you have never seen or heard of before, and it will be held from August 27th to 30th, 2024 at 8/COURT on the 8th floor Shibuya Hikarie.
This event is organized by the World Yuru Art Association, which aims to bring out the artistic potential of all people, regardless of whether they have a disability or not, with the motto "Turn people all over the world into artists." At this event in Shibuya, people can enjoy art experiences using a variety of unique techniques under the theme "Anyone can become an artist," regardless of whether they are good at drawing or not, their art grades, age, nationality, or whether they have a disability.
For example, there are 10 unique art methods that will make you think, "I've never tried making art like this before!", such as "drawing pictures with maracas and super balls," "writing calligraphy with your left foot," and "creating a masterpiece by sticking stickers on." During the event, there will be 22 workshops that anyone can easily participate in. Why not participate with your children during the summer vacation? Please note that each workshop will close when it reaches capacity, so we recommend that you make an early reservation in advance.

There are no correct answers or examples, so you can create a work of art by letting out all the energy you have been building up.

◆8/29 (Thu) Thread-pasted letters
Thread-pasted letters is an art technique invented by KOTA, who has been attending UNICO Music Therapy since he was 9 years old. He draws many letters and illustrations with a marker, as if he is writing down the words and images that are overflowing from his memory. He cuts embroidery thread and pastes it with glue, filling in the spaces surrounded by the lines he has drawn, painting them with color here and there. It takes perseverance, but once you start, you won't be able to stop!

◆8/29 (Thurs) Honne Explosion

First, you draw freely on paper with paints and crayons. While looking at the picture you have created, try making sounds on an instrument that match that feeling. Yuki Masuyama of UNICO will improvise an accompaniment to the sound you (the artist) make. What kind of world will the pictures and sounds born from your own feelings create?
