"Entrepreneurship and sexual assault": What we can do now

What is an active bystander?

Source: Peatix

This event will teach you concrete and practical ways for third parties to take proactive action when sexual harassment occurs in front of you or when you receive a consultation. The first half will be a talk session by experts on preventing sexual assault and sexual harassment in entrepreneurship, and the second half will be a workshop on how to act as an active bystander. For those who cannot attend on the day, an archived version will be available. Please consider this as well.

What is an active bystander?

An active bystander is someone who, when harassment, violence, or discrimination occurs, acts proactively instead of standing by and plays the role of a third party to mitigate the damage. In this workshop, we aim to help you learn to act as an active bystander while learning about examples that tend to occur in startups!
