The Okinawa culture festival "OKINAWA FES Milafete" will be held at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza for two days, May 16th and 17th.

Under the theme of "REAL OKINAWA," this event is the largest Okinawa festival in the Kanto region, offering visitors the chance to experience Okinawan music, traditional performing arts, food culture, local products, and art. This year marks its 10th anniversary and 11th overall. The venue will feature a total of 104 booths, including 60 food and beverage vendors, 7 food trucks, and 37 product and PR booths. Approximately 80% of the vendors are from Okinawa Prefecture, making it an opportunity to experience Okinawan local culture in Tokyo.

Food and drink booths will feature "Ryukyu Soft Serve Ice Cream," which is characterized by its purple cone made from rice flour and purple sweet potato; "Ishigama PIZZA Cava?", which will serve burgers made with "Misaki Beef," a brand of beef from Ishigaki Island; and "Fresh Plaza Union," a local Okinawan supermarket. The Motobu Town Tourism Association booth will also offer a variety of local dishes, such as Okinawa soba and goat dishes.

Multiple stages will be set up within the venue. The main stages, "MATSURI STAGE" and "CHURA STAGE," will feature live performances by artists associated with Okinawa, including "Kariyushi 58," "D-51," "Kiiyama Shoten," "Nene's," and "Taira Dai." A special stage by "Shimabukuro Yu and the Okinawa All Stars" is also planned for the finale on the 17th.

In addition, the event will feature a variety of content, including the "HAISAI STAGE" showcasing traditional performing arts such as Eisa dance and sanshin (Okinawan stringed instrument) performances, the "GARDEN STAGE supported by HABUSH" where attendees can enjoy Okinawan club culture, and the "YUNTAKU STAGE supported by Kikunotsuyu" where attendees can enjoy talks and interaction. The MCs will be model Cecil Kishimoto and Tomoji Yamashiro of the comedy duo "Yunbodanpu".
