Toshi Asaba
Freewill, Inc.
Founder & CEO
At the age of 15, he went to the United States to study high school alone. At the age of 19, he backpacked around the world, visiting about 45 countries. At the age of 24, he started a trading business in Europe. After working mainly in North America, Asia, and the EU, he experienced various industries, and returned to Japan at the age of 28, where he worked as a system engineer for both Japanese and foreign companies. After working as an IT consultant for about 7 years at a domestic IT company, he founded "Freewill, Inc." with 1 million yen of his own money in order to realize a vision he had been nurturing since he was 19. The title "FREEWILL" contains his desire to enable everyone to live a life that they can freely choose with their own free will. Currently, the organization has grown to a scale of 170 people based on ICT business, and is made up of a global team of employees from all over the world. This organization places emphasis on social impact, and has been advocating for 10 years that the benefit of society as a whole and the preservation of the global environment are essential elements for the future of society, and has made "social contribution" its number one priority. In order to realize what people want to do, the company shares profits and resources with all stakeholders and achieves "mutually beneficial symbiosis." He believes that this challenge, which no one has done before, will become the "model" of a new business that will become a representative in the not-too-distant future. ICT is essential to expand business while maintaining the environment of the entire planet. It is possible to create a society where people can realize what they want to do with "free will." That is why he has become the creator of various services. With the ideal of "people living like humans," he has broken away from the traditional capitalist model of working for shareholders, and has always been conscious of the future of organizations since his founding in 2013. To date, he has proposed multiple original services such as tell's market, crowdfunding, and Vibes.media. He also works as a creator, producing videos and videos, and is in charge of executive production and direction, as well as writing scripts and stories. In the writing field, he is active as a reporter/editor-in-chief.
