Sho Okuyama
Senior Executive Officer, Social Betting Business Division, MIXI, Inc.
After working in venture capital and startups, he joined Mixi, Inc. (now MIXI, Inc.) in April 2016. In the Corporate Planning Department and Investment Division, he was involved in subsidiary support, business development, M&A, PMI, and investment in startups, and oversaw the investment division. In April 2022, he was appointed Executive Officer of the company. From April 2023, he has been a Senior Executive Officer of the company (current position). From October 2025, he has been a Director of PointsBet, an Australian company.

He began public speaking at the age of 15 and won the national public speaking competition four times, receiving the Prime Minister's Award and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Cup. After graduating from Keio University, he joined DeNA. While in the Human Resources Department, he launched the company's first speechwriting service, working across departments to solve problems such as training employees to speak at events and writing speeches for the CEO.

In 2019, he founded Kaeka Co., Ltd., and operates the public speaking training service "kaeka," which has provided services to over 7,000 people, including business executives, politicians, and working professionals, by quantifying their speaking abilities and helping them improve their communication skills. He also works on writing speeches for corporate general meetings and national elections. In 2023, he was selected for Toyo Keizai Inc.'s "100 Amazing Ventures" and Forbes JAPAN's "100 Rising Stars of the Next Generation: 100 Japanese Startups to Watch in 2024." His book is titled "The Strategy of Public Speaking."
