"Why Sado-Tada now?"
The Tada district of Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, boasts a superb location with the sea stretching out before it and Mount Yahiko visible on the opposite shore. To be honest, it's not a tourist destination.
There are fascinating aspects and charms that you can only discover by living there. We at Shochiku Bytheway are a company that creates a system to allow people to enjoy life in Sado through our guesthouse in Tada. This time, we are connecting Sado with "Shibuya QWS," a hub of innovation in Tokyo, and exploring the potential of the Tada district of Sado City together with you.

This program is packed with the authentic charm of Sado Island, including a live broadcast from the opening site of a guesthouse that retains the atmosphere of the Showa and Heisei eras and feels like "everyone's hometown," and an in-depth conversation with the co-representative of Farm Ease, who is working to preserve the pesticide-free dried sweet potatoes of southern Sado, "Oimosan Oishii yo!", even at a loss.

In the second half, we'll hold a workshop where participants can brainstorm ideas together on the themes of "What makes you want to go to Sado?" and "What would you like to do in Tada?" Let's create a "face-to-face, ground-based connection" that links you to Sado.
