Flamenco Festival at Yoyogi Park: Experience Spain with dance, music, and paella.

"Earth Garden Summer Night Market 2026" will also be held concurrently.

A new event showcasing the allure of flamenco, "FUEGO FLAMENCO FEST 2026," will be held for three days starting July 3rd at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza (2 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku).

This event focuses on flamenco, a central element of Spanish culture. The venue is located within "Earth Garden 'Summer'," an outdoor event themed around the environment, nature, and lifestyle. The aim is to provide a space where visitors can experience Spanish culture through flamenco dance and music, food culture, workshops, and more. The event anticipates approximately 50,000 attendees over the three days.

Japan is said to have the world's second-largest flamenco population after Spain, and many enthusiasts and artists are active within the country. During the event, approximately 100 people in total will perform, including 12 groups such as the Japan Flamenco Association (ANIF), as well as flamenco groups, young artists, and musicians active in Japan. They will convey the charm of flamenco through a variety of expressions, including baile (dance), cante (singing), guitar, piano, and live painting.

過去開催時の様子

On the opening day, July 3rd, a ceremony recreating the lighting ceremony of Seville's Spring Festival will be held. In addition to a performance by the flamenco team "Aguas Termales," there will also be a live performance by electronic musician Soichi Terada, and performances by DJs Candy Boys and Masaki Kawamura.

On the 4th, an opening ceremony will be held with Fernando Curcio, Cultural and Scientific Counsellor of the Spanish Embassy in Japan, in attendance. The stage will feature performances by "VIVA Flamenco Music School," "Buena Suerte," "Los Amigos," and others, presenting a wide range of performances from traditional flamenco pieces to more accessible tunes. There will also be a "Solo Baile Challenge 2026 - Summer Edition," where dancers selected through an open call will take on the challenge of performing solo baile.

On the final day, the 5th, in addition to performances by young artist teams "Los Amigos" and "Aguas Termales," there will be a collaborative stage featuring art performer Colorhythm Risa and flamenco pianist Anli. From 7 PM, the Japan Flamenco Association will take the stage, presenting a program themed around Spanish dance.

Each serving is limited to 300 portions and will cost 1,000 yen.

In addition, the venue will feature Spanish beer "Mahou," wine and cocktails, churros, pizza, food trucks, merchandise and exhibition booths, and more. There will also be workshops offering cultural experiences and a booth introducing the Japan Flamenco Association's visiting dance troupe.
