There are interesting challenges in the region that haven't yet been addressed by many people.
The Yatsugatake-Chino area is also known as a summer resort.
This region boasts a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing that inherits the technology of the precision machinery industry once known as the "Switzerland of the East," agriculture that takes advantage of the high-altitude environment, medical care that supports local life, and tourism that utilizes its rich nature and culture.
On the other hand, amidst significant changes in population structure and social environment, each sector is facing challenges for the next era, such as securing manpower, passing on skills, creating new sales channels and customer touchpoints, ensuring the sustainability of local services, and further utilizing local resources.
Some of these regional challenges are difficult to solve if considered only within the local context. However, by encountering experiences cultivated in different regions and industries, new technologies, and unprecedented perspectives, these challenges can be transformed into opportunities to generate new businesses and projects.
In this event, we will explore the possibilities of new co-creation projects by combining AI with the experience, skills, and perspectives that each participant has cultivated through their work and activities, using real-world themes from the Yatsugatake and Chino areas as case studies.
Local businesses, companies, government officials, and diverse participants gather at Shibuya QWS to view local issues not simply as things to be solved, but as seeds for creating new value and a better future.
Why not start a new challenge connecting Yatsugatake/Chino with the city, based on the encounters and conversations you have here?
No specialized knowledge of regional revitalization, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, or tourism is required.
Your unique experiences and perspectives may lead to new possibilities for the community.
Please join us in this forum to think together about the future of Yatsugatake and Chino.

Representative: Kohei Suzuki
I am from Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. After graduating from university, I gained experience as an engineer, corporate sales representative, and new business development specialist at IT companies, building a career in the IT and business fields for approximately 15 years.
At the age of 37, the death of a relative prompted me to re-evaluate my life, and I decided to move to Chino City, Nagano Prefecture, and start farming. After two years of training as a mentor for new farmers, I became independent in 2019.
By incorporating data analysis and logical thinking skills honed in the IT industry into agricultural management, he grew his farm to become the fourth largest in the region in just three years since starting his farm.
Currently, I am working at the non-profit organization "Shinshu Chino Farming LABO," where I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of agricultural talent and addressing regional issues in cooperation with the local government.
