There will also be live shows where creators produce designs on the spot.

Canva Voyagers Marina 2026, an event where users of the design tool Canva can interact across fields and backgrounds, will be held on November 6th and 7th at DRAGON GATE, an event space on the 18th floor of the Shibuya PARCO DG Building. The event is organized by Canva Japan.

This event is an annual networking event hosted by Canva Village, Canva's official community. It brings together people who use Canva in five fields: business, education, design, NPOs, and students, aiming to create new connections through information exchange and collaborative projects. The first event was held last December, with approximately 950 people registering to participate over two days.

This year's theme is "A port town where connections become strength." The concept is to liken each field to the "sea" and the people working in them to "voyagers," and to gather in the same port once a year. Based on examples of how last year's exchanges led to work and collaborative projects, this year's event will feature more hands-on activities that participants "create together."

The venue will feature a main stage and two sub-stages, as well as booths from companies and communities, and workshop spaces. The main stage will host keynote speeches on business and education, live design shows by official Canva creators, and more.

On the 6th, there will be a lecture by Digital Hollywood on acquiring Canva skills, and a lecture by Raksul, a print-on-demand service, on the collaboration between design and printing. There will also be a "Canva Laugh (Show) Time" featuring comedians Kenta Otani and Hiroyuki Mc-II. In the evening, there will be a live show called "Creators Regatta" where official Canva creators will create designs on the spot.

On the 7th, the event will focus on the education sector, showcasing practical examples of using Canva in classrooms and creating educational materials. Educators will take the stage to explore the possibilities of learning through the use of digital tools. In addition, there will be a talk session featuring testimonials from users whose work and activities have been transformed by their encounter with Canva.

Throughout the two days, there will be a total of six stage performances featuring the cast of Canva's original drama "Design School." CLASS SEVEN, Shorin Ishikawa, Shin Shimizu, Kana Mikura, and director Yoshifumi Udo are scheduled to appear.

The sub-stage will feature approximately 24 sessions on themes such as corporate implementation case studies, classroom practices in schools, public relations activities of NPOs, and research activities of high school students. A "marche" will also be set up with booths from sponsoring companies and communities, showcasing examples such as stores using Canva to create menus and flyers.

In the participatory workshop, attendees will create cards with a message for their next voyage and then attach them to a board shaped like a lighthouse to create a collaborative artwork. Using templates created by official Canva creators, the workshop will be accessible to both children and adults. On both days, a networking event will be held in the last hour, allowing speakers and participants to mingle.

The event will be held from 13:00 to 22:00 on the 6th and from 10:00 to 18:00 on the 7th. Participants are free to enter and leave at any time. Participation is free. Pre-registration is required (first-come, first-served), and separate registration is necessary for those wishing to attend both days. Anyone can participate, regardless of prior experience with Canva.
