This is an entrepreneurial development program run by Toyama Prefecture to fully support those who wish to utilize their skills and careers to start businesses and startups in Toyama Prefecture!
The course will begin on Saturday, July 13, 2024. We will hold an information session to recruit students for the 6th term.
At the information session, Professor Kumano Masaki of Kobe University, who will be supervising and supervising this program, will give an explanation.

▶About the Toyama Startup Program in Tokyo
This is an entrepreneurial development program run by Toyama Prefecture to fully support those who aspire to start up businesses in the prefecture.
Under the supervision of Professor Masaki Kumano of the Kobe University Industrial-Academic-Government Collaboration Office, a leading expert in entrepreneurial education who is originally from Toyama Prefecture, lecturers from various fields who are entrepreneurs, experts, and active in the startup industry will provide instruction. The sixth session will begin in July 2024. We are looking for people who wish to start a business or startup in Toyama Prefecture.
This year, the event will be held simultaneously in Tokyo and Toyama, connected online.
With moving to rural areas becoming a hot topic, we provide guidance to people who are aiming to start their own businesses or startups in Toyama Prefecture.
On the final day, a DEMO DAY was held, inviting VCs (venture capitalists).
We provide an opportunity for real meetings with investors for fundraising.
Program Features
Guidance and supervision by leading experts in entrepreneurial education
Lectures by guest lecturers from various fields who are active in the entrepreneurial and startup industries
A pitch contest for venture capitalists
Held once a month on Saturdays (one of the eight sessions is a field training session in Toyama)
Throughout the program, the event will be held simultaneously in Toyama (except for the 1st, 6th and 8th events)
Desired student profile
We are looking for people who aim to raise funds from venture capital (VC) and grow their business as a startup.
Those in the pre-seed stage who are refining their business plan
Those who have already started a business and are looking to raise funds from VCs
The second venture
Students who consider starting a business as an option after graduating from university
Those who want to join a group of people aiming to start a startup by utilizing their expertise in programming, etc.
