A math and space event for parents and children to enjoy will be held from 9:30 to 11:00! *Please purchase tickets for the number of parents and children participating!
*Adults, including those in the education field, can also participate as participants! Special tickets are available. Please join us and put yourself in the child's shoes!


Numa-chan from math channel, who brings you the fun of math and space,
A space collaboration event with Ricot, a space-related YouTuber!


We will be introducing interesting stories about the math behind the stars and the universe, with a focus on planetarium crafts that will help you learn more about the starry sky!
There will also be a Q&A session for the two of them!
You can also hear questions such as "Why did you become interested in space?" and "What kind of space research are you doing?"
We will bring you exciting learning experiences, so come and enjoy math and space together!

・Space-related YouTuber "Ricott" will be hosting a program called "Star Stories" to help you learn more about the starry sky.
・"Math Story" hidden in the starry sky by "Numa-chan" from math channel
・"Planetarium crafts" to learn more about the starry sky
(We will make a rotating planetarium using paper cups and light! You can create the actual northern sky and your own starry sky!)
・Space talk corner for two people

Event Summary
Date: Saturday, January 31, 2026
Time: 9:30-11:00 *Entry permitted 15 minutes before
Participation fee: 4,400 yen per parent-child pair (tax and materials included) - up to 1 child and 2 parents
For the second or more children, an additional 2,200 yen (tax included) per child
*Example: For two children and two parents, please purchase tickets for 4,400 yen + 2,200 yen.
*If one adult is participating, please purchase an "Adult Only Participation Ticket (2,200 yen)."
Capacity: Up to 25 parent-child pairs (first come, first served)
What to bring: Writing implements
Target age group: 1st to 6th grade elementary school students and their parents. *Adults only are also welcome to participate.
*Tickets do not need to be purchased for infants, young children, and other children who will not be participating in the content of the course, but please indicate in the question section of your application that they will be attending.

About the lecturer on the day


Norika Numa (Numa-chan)
Graduated from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Graduate School of Science, University of Tokyo. He works as a "math designer" who designs familiar objects using mathematics. Utilizing his love of mathematics and experience in space research, he conducts numerous courses nationwide and online to teach mathematics and the universe to children and adults in a fun and easy-to-understand way. He is the editor-in-chief of the online media "math channel magazine." His books include "Understanding Turtle and Crane Math with Lines, Squares, and Tables" (Nitto Shoin Honsha) and "Math Quiz You'll Want to Ask People Right Away" (Bunkyosha).


Ricot
Born in Hokkaido in 1996. Graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Science, Department of Astronomy. Impressed by his first visit to a planetarium as a university student, he decided to pursue a career in astronomy. He is also a graduate of the University of Tokyo Science and Technology Interpreter Training Program. In 2020, he launched the YouTube channel "Ricott's Sunset Astronomy Club," where he promotes astronomy education from a novel perspective. He received the Young Encouragement Award from the Japan Astronomy Education Promotion Research Association. He writes articles for the astronomy magazine "Hoshi Navi" and gives numerous lectures at planetariums and children's centers. He holds Star Sommelier® certification, junior high and high school teaching licenses (science and mathematics), a curator's license, and a social education specialist (training course). He admires anime song singer Masayoshi Oishi and has even served as a backup dancer in one of his music videos.
