He has worked in the retail industry for nearly 30 years, overseeing everything from catalog sales to online sales, from product development to marketing. Since 2017, he has served as the head of the Group IT Strategy Office, overseeing the IT operations of a major supermarket chain.
On the other hand, I am currently enrolled in a doctoral program while working, researching retail, customer behavior, and the advancement of digitalization from the perspective of knowledge science. Rather than presenting case studies of individual companies, I will discuss the current state of retail from an academic and structural viewpoint.

Subsequently, I worked at a cross-border e-commerce venture, where I was responsible for establishing the Japanese subsidiary and managing overseas marketplaces, promoting the development of business design and operational systems centered on e-commerce malls. I have made significant contributions to the growth of clients by providing proposals aimed at improving efficiency and increasing sales in various situations, from e-commerce malls to proprietary e-commerce sites. Currently, I work at Concentrix Japan, where I am engaged in e-commerce consulting and human resource development, mainly for major manufacturers.

Originally from Hiroshima Prefecture, after graduating from a university in Tokyo, he joined a system development company as a software engineer. After providing technical support to domestic Shopify partners for store construction, app development, payment integration, and business development, he assumed his current position in 2023. Currently, he is involved in development training, consulting, and content creation for major companies to adopt Shopify.
