The urban culture festival "YOYOGI PARK CULTURE FES -Shu-" will be held on May 30th at "BE STAGE," a multi-purpose facility in Yoyogi Park. The event is co-organized by Shibuya Ward and Shibuya Future Design, a general incorporated association.

This event is part of "Shibuya Playground," an urban project that envisions the entire Shibuya ward as a "field where play, sports, and culture intersect." Using Yoyogi Park, a public space, as its stage, the event aims to foster a new urban culture by bringing together people of diverse generations and genres through street sports, music, art, and more.

From 1pm to 5pm, "NXG FES by NEXT GENERATIONS" will take place. This event will feature street sports experiences such as double dutch, freestyle football, freestyle basketball, and skateboarding, as well as interactive content for "BEYBLADE X." In addition to performances by kids and student players, the venue will also host participatory programs such as lantern making and rap workshops. The aim is to create a space where young people who will lead the next generation can express themselves and connect with one another.

From 5 PM onwards, a jam session featuring skateboarding and BMX will be held at the outdoor skate park. On the main stage, a total of 15 acts will perform, including the double dutch team "REG☆STYLE," rapper COMA-CHI, and DJ DJ WATARAI, showcasing performances by top players from various street cultures.

The event will be held from 1pm to 9pm. Admission is free.
