Amidst the daily grind of work, household chores, and the immediate tasks at hand, do you ever find yourself wondering, "What does happiness mean to me?"

The term "well-being" is something we hear a lot these days. You might be curious about it, but you don't really know what it means... This event is a workshop designed for people like you, where you can "reaffirm what happiness means to you."

First, we'll unravel the vague concept of "happiness" from a scientific perspective. We'll learn about the properties of the three hormones that make up happiness (serotonin, oxytocin, and dopamine) and self-check which element is strongest in you right now.

Next, you internalize that knowledge and make it relevant to yourself. You score and compare the "importance" of keywords such as "family," "work," "personal growth," and "leisure" with the "degree of agreement with reality." By observing the gap, you increase the clarity of "what you truly value."

Finally, participants share their values in small group discussions. By encountering other people's perspectives, they can become aware of "new values that have emerged within themselves" and "the core principles that they absolutely cannot compromise on."

Our guest lecturer will be Aki Yamada, who has been teaching "the power to design your life" in a variety of fields, including business, physical health coaching, and support for students who are not attending school.

No difficult knowledge or prior preparation is required. Please feel free to join us to find hints that will make your life a little bit happier!

Facilitator

Aki Yamada
Our mission is to create a society where people can live healthy and happy lives, both physically and mentally.
While launching new businesses at a venture company, she also works as a lifestyle improvement coach, providing support to over 200 working adults in terms of diet and mindset. Furthermore, since 2020, she has been involved in supporting students who are not attending school, deeply engaging in real social issues that transcend generations.

Drawing on my experience of encountering numerous lives from three different perspectives—corporate, individual, and educational—I am convinced of the importance of "the ability to design one's own life" in the modern age. I am developing well-being workshops that integrate theory and practice.
