With the annual social and cultural design festival "SOCIAL INNOVATION WEEK 2024 (SIW)" approaching this fall, a pre-event "m-flo ♡ SIW CONNECT SPECIAL TALK @ Shibuya Miyashita Park" will be held at Shibuya Miyashita Park on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

The event is held every autumn as a place to encounter new ideas through cutting-edge initiatives and research results from Japan and abroad, with a variety of themes such as Shibuya, culture, global issues, sustainability, and women. Ahead of the 7th autumn event, a pre-event will be held featuring music production unit m-flo.

On the day, m-flo's ☆Taku Takahashi, VERBAL, Mitsui Fudosan's Hoshino Hitomi, and Shibuya Ward Tourism Association Representative Director Kanayama Jungo will be taking to the stage. Under the theme of "City and Entertainment," Shibuya, which served as the center of various music scenes in the 1990s and 2000s, will hold a talk session from the perspectives of artists, creators, and developers on what kind of entertainment scene it will be able to lead after redevelopment. After the talk session, there will also be a mini live performance by m-flo, who will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in July.

This event, unique to Shibuya and taking advantage of the public space of Miyashita Park, is attracting attention. Admission is free.
