On Saturday, October 5th, a one-day only foot bath hot spring park using hot spring water from Higashiizu Town will be held at Inaribashi Square in front of SHIBUYA STREAM!

In collaboration with Onsen Wakuwaku, a service that offers a hot spring trip experience from home, we have prepared a foot bath booth in Shibuya where you can experience the hot spring water from Higashiizu Town! Come experience the benefits and relaxing effects that only the hot spring water can provide. There will also be a space in the venue where you can relax and "unwind" after your foot bath. There will also be guest talk shows and special events related to the theme! Make it a "moment of relaxation" in the midst of your busy days! ♨️

For one day only, we will be setting up a pop-up foot bath booth using hot spring water from Higashiizu Town!

In collaboration with Onsen WAKUWAKU, we have prepared a hot spring source in Higashiizu Town! This hot spring source can also be purchased for home use through Onsen WAKUWAKU's service!

・Detail 2: At some of the foot bath booths, you can enjoy an XR foot bath experience that allows you to digitally immerse yourself in the scenery of Higashiizu Town through smart glasses (LEGION Glasses) or an AI smartphone (motorola edge 50 pro).

Walk-ins are welcome, but advance reservations are also available.
There is a possibility that you may have to wait in line on the day, so please make use of the advance reservation slots.

*About advance reservation slots
・Reservations will be limited to 15 minutes per booth (maximum capacity 2 people).
・Each advance reservation ticket can be used by up to two people.
・If you need to cancel, please contact us at least 2 days in advance.
・If there are cancellations from other applications up until two days before the event (October 3rd), we will prioritize tickets on the order in which they were applied for.
・If you are using the facility with three or more people, please take turns using it within your group.
If there is space available on the day, we will let you know.
・Participation and reservation fees are free.
Please come to the reception 10 minutes before the start of the session.
・The time may change depending on operational reasons on the day.
・The XR foot bath experience using smart glasses will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day.

Mr. Shigeki Iwai (Mayor of Higashiizu Town)

Born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture in 1968. After working at Maeda Corporation, he served as a politician's secretary, a member of the House of Councillors, chairman of the House of Councillors Special Committee on Government Development Assistance, chairman of the House of Councillors Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, before becoming the head of a local government in 2022.
Utilizing the knowledge he gained from studying environmental engineering and civil engineering at Nagoya University Graduate School, he continues to work towards the realization of "creating a community filled with smiles and where people can live in peace and security."

Mr. Yuichi Kato (next to Kosugiyu)

Representative director of Sentogurashi, director of Saijo no Kurashisha, and full-time lecturer at Tohoku University of Art and Design. With the theme of balancing design and management, he is currently planning and managing the shared space with a public bath, "Kosugiyu Tonari," and working on the "Vacant House Utilization Project @ Yamagata." His design works include the "Saga Castle Area Renovation" and "Regeneration of the Former Fuji Elementary School." His publications include "CREATIVE LOCAL," "Working at Multiple Locations," and "Expanding Urban Development from Public Baths."

Hot Springs Expert/Visiting Researcher at Kyorin University Regional Research Institute
Kyoko Kitade (Hot Springs Kitade Kyoko)

A hot spring expert who visits over 300 hot springs in Japan and abroad every year. Utilizing his numerous hot spring qualifications and knowledge, he has appeared in numerous mass media outlets, given lectures, and promoted the appeal of hot springs to the world as an influencer. In addition, as a specialist who can analyze and evaluate hot spring quality through "tasting," he works with government and hot spring local governments to oversee content that utilizes hot spring resources and provide advice on creating hot spring resorts that make the most of the spring quality. He also serves as a university lecturer and a tourism administration committee member. He is a certified psychologist and author of "Kyushu's Best Hot Springs, Where Should We Go? (Pegasus Publishing)."

"Warm up your feet with yoga"

This is a relaxing yoga event that can be enjoyed by beginners and parents and children, and features a former popular LAVA instructor!
The theme of the event will be to warm you up from the inside out, using poses to warm the lower back, poses to increase metabolism, and acupressure points on the feet.
Let's spend some relaxing time together, away from the city!

A three-week pop-up event will be held with the theme "Bathing in the city."

For three weeks from Saturday, September 14th to Saturday, October 5th, a pop-up will be held at the cafe "TORQUE SPICE & HERB, TABLE & COURT" on the 4th floor of SHIBUYA STREAM, selling Higashiizu Town's specialties and promoting tourist information. As a special benefit for visitors, a gachapon project will be held in collaboration with "Izunavi," a digital service available in the Izu area. Gachapon exchange coupons will be distributed on Izunavi's LINE service.
In addition, the cafe will be holding a fair featuring a collaboration menu with Higashiizu Town. Don't miss this opportunity!
