SAKURA DEEPTECH SHIBUYAThe Sakura Deeptech Shibuya Accelerator Kickoff Week will be held in June at . During the week, there will be an open session on June 24th, 25th, and 26th, which is open to the public. This is a very valuable opportunity for key people related to deep tech from Japan and abroad to gather.

Participation is free. If you are considering business development or investment in the fields of Climate Tech, AI, or Robotics, or if you are interested in the latest trends, please join us. Simultaneous interpretation (screen projection) will be available for all sessions.

1. Climate Tech & AI Session – June 24th (Tue) 15:30-19:30

This panel discussion will feature key figures at the forefront of Climate Tech and AI both in Japan and overseas, including Richard Youngman, CEO of Cleantech Group, a global leader in the cleantech field, Hidemi Naganuma, founder of an independent VC specializing in European deep tech, Mikio Kawahara of University of Tokyo Platform Collaboration (Todai IPC), a venture capital firm funded by the University of Tokyo, and Alex LeBrun, leader of the AI startup Nabla. A networking reception is also planned to follow this session.

2. Session by Robotics Experts and Startup Founders – Wednesday, June 25th, 12:00-13:30

We will invite Paulo Debenest, founder of Hibot, which develops inspection robots for extreme environments, and Aveek Das, CTO of Guide Robotics, which promotes digital transformation in logistics and manufacturing sites with indoor positioning navigation technology, to talk about cutting-edge robotics technology, business development, and global expansion. Lunch will be provided for participants.

3. Panel and networking event with VCs/CVCs – June 26th (Thu) 12:30-14:00

This is a networking opportunity for venture capitalists and corporate venture capitalists who are currently investing in deep tech fields such as Climate Tech, AI, and Robotics. Lunch will be provided for participants. This program is limited to VCs and CVCs.
