In the second half of the event, Myoko City will also introduce its initiatives throughout the year.

Guest: Momoi Enka
Born in 1993 in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.

He grew up in a marginal village deep in the mountains. His elementary school had only seven students, but it closed while he was still there. The junior high school he attended also closed, and he spent his time feeling the decline and end of the area.
After graduating from a university in Kyoto, he got a job at a shopping center development and management company that allows him to be transferred nationwide so that he could live in various regions. After working in Osaka and Tokushima, he decided to change jobs because he wanted to experience a job with a stronger local flavor. He moved to Yamanashi, which he had been interested in for a long time, and worked on a peach farm because his name is Momoi. After enjoying life in Yamanashi, he decided to return to his hometown at the end of December 2024, wanting to see it with his own eyes while it will probably disappear someday.
He joined the Myoko Tourism Management General Incorporated Association in January 2025 and is currently planning to do something interesting in the area.

When thinking about how you will live and work in the future, learning about how people live and work in other regions will broaden your life options. Also, while living in the city center, you can be involved with your hometown, the city where you spent your student days, the city you fell in love with at first sight while traveling, or the city you would like to live in someday. Utilizing your skills in the community. I also feel that more and more people are looking to be involved with the community, not just in the way they work.

This is an event where you can meet guests who are challenging themselves to do "new and interesting things" that will be active in Myoko in the future.
