Challenergy (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), a developer of next-generation wind turbines, will hold an experiential event for parents and children to enjoy together, "Fun for Parents and Children! Independent Research x Sustainability - Create Summer Memories and the Future of the Earth," at the Global Environment Partnership Plaza (GEOC) on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
With an eye on achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, efforts are underway to realize renewable energy and a recycling-oriented society, making environmental education an essential theme for children who will lead the next generation. Up until now, in parallel with the social implementation of wind power generation, we have been holding events and workshops to convey the significance of renewable energy through hands-on experience.
This event will use the theme of "Summer Vacation Independent Research" to introduce sustainable fashion, which is attracting attention for its large-scale waste in the apparel industry, the waste problem that calls for a circular economy that recycles resources, and wind power generation, one of the renewable energy sources that our company is working on.In addition, you can learn about environmental issues close to home while having fun through environmentally themed games and workshops.Families with children and adults only are welcome to participate!
"Learning about the environment" will become a "memory for parents and children." Let's create such a day together.

Now that the word "sustainable" has become familiar to children, we believe that there is a need for a place that turns "learning" into "experience."
At this event, we hope to provide an opportunity for participants to learn about environmental issues in a fun way through the familiar theme of independent research, and to discover what steps they can take.
Let's join together to make this a memorable summer day for both children and parents!
In addition, the report summarizing the experience at the event can be used as an independent study project during the summer vacation.
■ Speakers

Mr. Satoshi Shimamura
Senior Executive Officer and Head of Digital Strategy Department, Tokyo Soir Co., Ltd.
After joining the company in 1995, he began his career at the department store headquarters and participated in the launch of a new business in 2009. The following year, he launched a new retail business and was in charge of store development, product planning, sales strategy, etc.
He launched the e-commerce business in 2017 and was appointed General Manager of Digital Strategy in 2021, overseeing the company's entire e-commerce business. He expanded the e-commerce business, which was worth 500 million yen at the time, to 1.2 billion yen by fiscal 2024.
He was appointed Senior Executive Officer in 2025 and is currently working on developing and implementing digital strategies with the aim of promoting company-wide digital transformation and maximizing brand value.

Mr. Takahiro Kobori
CEO of Ecolegacies / Environmental Consultant / Doctor of Engineering
He has been involved in industrial waste treatment and recycling for many years, and has gained a wide range of practical experience, including incineration, crushing, sludge recycling, and administrative procedures for establishing new waste treatment facilities. He is well-versed in environmental technology in general, and holds a PhD in biomass pyrolysis and gasification technology. Drawing on both his on-site knowledge and research knowledge, he makes various proposals to companies and local governments that lead to a realistic and sustainable society, such as the creation of new businesses aimed at reducing and utilizing waste and decarbonizing.
At the heart of his work is the idea of "how can we pass on this society to the next generation in a better way?" The current social system is inevitably at a dead end. He is focusing on creating opportunities so that children can look forward to the future.
