On July 8th, the large complex "SHIBUYA AXSH AXSH" will open in the east exit area of Shibuya Station, followed by "Shibuya Sakura Stage" in the Sakuragaoka area on the 26th. To commemorate the opening of these two new landmark facilities, a series of events will be held from July 8th in the new facilities and around Shibuya Station to promote the charms of Shibuya, with the theme "SHIBUYA Machibiraki 2024 - Let's imagine a new landscape."

The event, which has the slogan "SHIBUYA OPEN CITY, Open Shibuya," will feature a lineup of participatory and public-recruitment music, art, and experience events with the keyword "OPEN CITY." 1. [Music] OPEN LIVE - Shibuya gets excited with music!

Live stages for young musicians will appear all over Shibuya. Shibuya is attracting attention as a new cultural hub, and we will liven up the city through music. Indie and new artists, why not apply and deliver your music to Shibuya?

2. [Art] OPEN ART -Shibuya Independent Exhibition-

The Independents Exhibition is an art exhibition that was first held in Paris, France in 1884, where all submitted works are displayed. The only condition for the open ART - Shibuya Independents Exhibition to be held this time is to paint a "T-shirt" that has colored Shibuya culture such as music and fashion on a canvas, and anyone can participate regardless of age or nationality. All submitted works will be displayed in various facilities in Shibuya, so it's fun to wander around the city of Shibuya looking for your own work.

3. [Moving Experience] OPEN CITY Experience

A total of 15 programs are available for public participation, including places that are not open to the public and special experience tours.
