SHIBUYA SKY, the observation deck at SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE a popular tourist spot in the area, will celebrate its fifth anniversary on November 1, 2024. To express gratitude to the many visitors, SHIBUYA SKY will be holding an event to express the experiential value of the event, "Look up at the sky and open your senses. The 5th anniversary of SHIBUYA SKY," from October 3 (Thurs) to November 3 (Sun), 2024.

The event will be held under four themes: "Exhibition," "Theater," "Music," and "Moon Viewing." On October 17, 2024, the night of the supermoon, when the moon is closest to the earth, the first "Moon Viewing Live" event is scheduled to be held.

MOONGAZING ：ROOFTOP SUPER MOON NIGHT

On the night of the supermoon on Thursday, October 17th, when the moon will be closest to the earth in 2024, a special event titled "ROOFTOP SUPER MOON NIGHT" will be held at the SHIBUYA SKY rooftop observation space "SKY STAGE". After watching the planetarium at the Cosmo Planetarium, located a five-minute walk from Shibuya Station, you can observe the "supermoon" through an astronomical telescope from SHIBUYA SKY. You can enjoy the moon while listening to explanations from a starry sky guide and stories related to the moon.

THEATER: "Imagine the Universe" Rooftop Movie Theater

As a joint project with Shibuya's movie theater "Image Forum," films depicting the yearning and imagination of space will be screened on the rooftop of SHIBUYA SKY.
