"Salsa Street 2025 Spring -Viva La Primavera-," an outdoor festival where you can experience Caribbean and Latin American culture, will be held on March 15th and 16th at the Zelkova Avenue in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo. This event, which will be held for the first time in six years, will feature 38 booths selling food, beverages, and miscellaneous goods, as well as a spectacular stage program including live performances.

A collection of Latin American delicacies and colorful goods

This event will feature 29 food booths offering the cuisine of Latin America. A wide variety of dishes will be on offer, including Peruvian anticuchos (ALDO), Mexican tacos (ESO, SOL TOKYO, O'tacos, etc.), Cuban sandwiches (AHINAMA★TRAILER El Papi, south yard kitchen HARE, etc.), Colombian arepas (Columbita), Brazilian churrasco (Rabipa pastéis), and Argentine choripan (RAICES, Pinky Food Truck). You can also enjoy Spanish paella (Paella Grandpa) and pink mojitos (PINK MOJITO) from St. Martin.

Another highlight is the stalls from all over Japan, including Hokkaido's butter-grilled scallop skewers (delicious Hokkaido), Awaji Island's island gyoza (eight one cafe), and pork spare ribs (Old Kitchen).

In addition to food booths, there will also be a craft market selling Latin American goods and clothing. There will be Mexican goods (Caracol), Guatemalan art goods (GuatemalaArt), colorful items from Central and South America (greenpepe), T-shirts, lucha masks (El Jalapeño), and other products that are usually hard to find.

A stage program filled with Latin rhythms

On the stage, 18 groups are scheduled to perform over the two days, including Latin music and dance shows. The MC will be Latin Samurai, who was born in Peru and raised in Japan, and he will liven up the event together with the visitors, including talking about the cultural background.
