"Cambodia Festival 2026" to be held at Yoyogi Park: A diverse range of cultural experiences to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Approximately 70 booths will be set up, selling Cambodian food, goods, and more.

The Cambodia Festival 2026, an event showcasing Cambodian culture, food, music, and more, will be held on May 3rd and 4th at the Yoyogi Park Event Plaza and Outdoor Stage. The event is organized by the Cambodia Festival 2026 Executive Committee.

The event, which began in 2015, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Last year, it attracted approximately 100,000 visitors and has grown into one of the largest Cambodia-related events in Japan. To mark this milestone, the event aims to enrich its content more than ever before, and to further deepen exchanges between Japan and Cambodia over the two days.

Approximately 70 booths will be set up at the venue. In addition to selling Cambodian food and goods that recreate the local flavors, there will also be presentations on the activities of companies, NGOs, and NPOs. You can also enjoy dishes that are still rare in Japan, such as the rice noodle dish "Num Banh Chok".

On the main stage, artists from Cambodia will perform traditional dances and music. The program will offer an opportunity to experience the local culture, complete with vibrant traditional costumes.

Furthermore, the event will focus on "Krama," a traditional cloth that was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2024. In addition to hands-on content where visitors can learn about its history and uses, there will also be special events to commemorate the 10th anniversary.

The event aims to deepen mutual understanding between Japan and Cambodia through the introduction of Cambodia's traditional culture, tourist attractions, and food culture. The event anticipates an attendance of 50,000 to 100,000 people.

The event will run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It will be held rain or shine. Admission is free.
