"City Green Fes. 2026," an urban festival that reinterprets "ethical" as a culture, will be held on May 23rd and 24th at Miyashita Park on the rooftop of the MIYASHITA PARK complex in Shibuya. The event is organized by the Meiji-dori Miyashita Park Shopping Association.

With the theme of "Bringing greenery to cities, and ethics to culture," this urban ethical festival aims to reconnect cities and nature through music, markets, wellness, art, and more. It was first held last year, attracting approximately 4,500 people. This year, with the theme "RE:WILDING TOKYO," the event will be expanded in scale, with an expected attendance of 10,000 people over two days.

The venue will utilize the lawn area and rooftop space to offer a variety of content, including yoga and meditation, live music performances, talk sessions, upcycling experiences, and an ethical market. The space will be designed using recycled materials and natural materials to create a place where people can feel nature and "emptiness" in the middle of the city.

A cleanup project linked to the Shibuya area will also be implemented. In cooperation with shopping associations and cleaning groups in the Shibuya area, a large-scale cleanup activity will be conducted under the theme of "Let's keep the city we play in clean ourselves." On the 24th, a "plogging (litter picking run)" in collaboration with the wellness media "Women's Health" is also planned.

The wellness content will include sessions led by model and "The Wellness Japan" representative SHIHO, yoga led by an ambassador for the sports brand "alo," and a crime prevention seminar by former kickboxing world champion Rui Ebata. There will also be running sessions by the running community "LIKOU" and the sports brand "On."

In the music area, a collaboration with the coffee brand "COFFEE CLUB" will create a music space with DJs, providing a "chill" atmosphere that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

The market will feature over 30 brands, including the upcycling brand "PLASTICITY," the vegan cosmetics brand "AINOKI," the Swiss natural cosmetics brand "nahrin," and food trucks offering plant-based food and drinks. The venue will also host "Kurukuru Marche," a recycling event where people can bring in unwanted items, as well as workshops in collaboration with companies, such as accessory making using marine waste and shoe cleaning experiences. Sponsoring companies include Asahi Soft Drinks, KEEN, Sekisui House, and Jackery.
