What is DRIVE Career Crosstalk Live?
Each time, we welcome several guests who are active in solving social issues,
The organizational culture, the difficulties and joys of the work, and
This will be a talk show where we will discuss various topics, including the current status of the issues we are working on.

The theme of this year's event was "Focusing on the potential of people who tend to be isolated."
We welcomed guests from three companies/NPOs whose business involves supporting people in particularly difficult situations in society, namely [refugees] and [homeless].
We will discuss with participants the challenges in their respective fields, the difficulties and joys of work, and career-related topics.

By comparing multiple initiatives, you can see the differences,
Once you understand the difference, you will know which one is right for you.

People who want to contribute to making society better
Finding the right job and friends for you.

● Kana Ichikawa / CEO of Relight Inc.
Born in Tokyo in 1993. Graduated from Chuo University.
While researching poverty in developing countries at university, he realized that poverty was also an issue in Japan, and aspired to solve the problem of homelessness. He participated in soup kitchens and night patrols across the country, talking to supporters and those directly affected, and decided to start a sustainable social business.
After working on running a leather goods business that creates jobs in Bangladesh and establishing a domestic leather factory that is easy for people with mental illnesses and developmental disabilities in Japan to work in, he founded Relight Co., Ltd., which focuses on the issue of homelessness. He supports people in rebuilding their lives by introducing jobs and properties. He appeared on Gaia no Yoake in 2021. In 2022, he was selected for FORBES JAPAN 30 UNDER 30.

Saki Watanabe, Director and Head of Resources, NPO WELgee
Born in 1997. Native language is Tsugaru dialect.
During his university days, he met refugees in Jordan during his first overseas visit. After that, through his involvement with Yemeni refugees on Jeju Island in South Korea, he realized the importance of creating "connections" and "places to belong" in society, and joined the WELgee Salon Division as an intern in the summer of 2019. In April 2020, he joined the company as a new graduate and headed the Resources Department. He will be appointed as a director in September 2022.

Yuka Fujii, Head of ZERO PC Business, PeoplePort Inc.
In order to create a social infrastructure where diverse individuals can shine, he joined Borderless Japan with the aim of becoming a social entrepreneur.
After helping to launch "For Good," he moved to Peopleport, which works to create jobs for refugees.
While working with an engineer of refugee background to rebuild the factory's production line,
He promotes the creation of an organization where diverse personalities can shine, and will be in charge of the ZERO PC business from April 2024. He is a recipient of the 9th batch of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Tobitate Study Abroad Japan program and a Saitama Goodwill Ambassador (2019-2020).

Selected for the Global Shapers Community Yokohama, run by the World Economic Forum, in 2021.
